We picked up 3 new Elders this week. The traffic was so bad. It usually takes us an hour to get to the airport, but it took us 1 1/2 hours. Thank goodness, they were just getting their luggage, so we made it just in time. The Elders get so excited to meet their new companions. They had dinner ready for them when they arrived. The Elders are also amazing cooks. The Bastos Elders had chili and cornbread ready for Elder Hunt and Elder Naughton. The Ekounou Elders had spaghetti omelettes ready. We were all admiring their crisp, white shirts. The dirty water here makes it hard to get our whites white. The red dirt adds to the struggle. Welcome to Yaounde' Elders.
